First Sergeant Julio C. Rodriguez was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He attended Dr. Alfredo M. Aguayo High School in Ponce, Puerto Rico. 1SG Rodriguez entered the Army on 6 June, 1995 as a 13B Cannon Crewmember, where he attended One Station Unit Training at Fort Sill, OK, attaining the Field Artillery Cannoneer Occupational Skill (13B).
