We are very excited to announce this week's winners of the "Flying the P" award! This week we are honoring eleven students from Mr. Shepard's Landscaping class. The Landscaping class turned an 1800 sq ft jungle into a well manicured place of tranquility. Students poured two concrete patios, built two pergolas and installed a curved paver walkway adjoining the two, completed with sitting walls on either side. Finally, all the hardscapes were accented with fresh barberries, ornamental grasses, and lilacs. The students have poured their hearts into this project through the heat, cold and mud. #dragonpride

On Saturday, May 4th in East Peoria, Congresswoman Bustos held her fourth annual Art Competition Showcase, which allowed students to display their artwork in a gallery setting. Help us congratulate Freshman Andrea Coussens' whose work was selected as a runner up and will be displayed in the Peoria Office of Congressman Bustos for the 2019-2020 school year. Andrea completed this Impressionism piece titled "Reflections" while in Art One last Fall with Katie Holeton.
