We wrapped up the presentations with Shalesse Pie, HR at the Peoria Park District giving tips on interviewing skills.
Students learned to dress well for work from Logan Long of Goodwill Industries and were served lunch in the Dragon Cafe!
Ms. Cassidy, our Culinary Arts instructor presented proper dining etiquette.
Students from 3 counties came to the Holman Center at Pekin High School to learn about Workplace Skills.
The S'Pekin Dragons placed 4th last weekend at the Bradley University Speech Tournament. There were 24 schools from eight different states at this competition.
Additionally, senior Danielle Watson placed 2nd in the Jay Janssen Oratorical Competition, earning a $13,000 scholarship to attend Bradley and be on their nationally ranked speech team!
Congratulations to the PCHS students that auditioned and were selected to represent PCHS at All-STATE band in January!!!!! These students had to undergo a rigorous audition process starting back in October. Please congratulate these kids, as they were chosen from among tens of thousands of auditioning students from around the state!!!!
